General Information to all visitors
During a lifelong interest in old motorcycles I have built up a considerable collection of veteran, vintage and classic motorcycle parts which I have now decided to sell. The parts fall into three principle types: original old stock parts, second hand used parts, and new parts. The description of the parts is drawn from original labelling where available, otherwise it is based on knowledge and experience. None of these is infallible and if anyone has better, more correct, or more accurate description of the parts I would be most interested to hear from them. Please note most images on this site will enlarge if single right clicked on.
Stock Quantity.
Except in the case of new parts, which are usually available on an ongoing basis, the quantities in stock are usually between 1 and 5 items. In these cases, once the parts are sold they will not be available again.

Condition - Functionality
All parts are either original old stock, or new manufacture, a few items are used. Part description will say which. In either case the part should function as well as the original design intended. However no responsibility is taken by the vendor for failure in use. The buyer must take account of the possible the effects of ageing on original components, and must take full responsibilty for any liabilty arising out of the use to which the components are subjected whether they are original old stock or new manufacture.
Condition - Appearance
All parts are either original old stock, or new manufacture, a few items are used. Part description will say which. Condition is described as follows:
New. Means the parts are new manufacture and that they will have a commensurate finish.
Very Good. Means the appearance is almost as good as when the parts were new.
Good. Means that appearance shows some signs of ageing of finishes, refinishing probably not required
Adequate. Means that the apperance shows considerable ageing of finishes, and some refinishing may be required.
Poor. Means that the apperance shows signs of extensive ageing of finishes, and refinishing will be required
Dimensions
Dimensions shown as whole numbers or fractions are nominal sizes.
Dimensions show as decimal amounts, and without an accuracy range shown, will have been measured with a digital vernier and are subject to accuracy within the constraints that such measurement allows, ie they will be accurate +/- up to .005".
When more accurate dimensions are necessary they will be measured with a suitable micrometer and an accuracy range will be shown.
Please note all parts are subject to variabilty depending on the source and the original manufacturer's repeatabilty standard
